General Information

Students in seventh through twelfth grades, from both public and private institutions, are eligible to compete in one of the nine District Rallies.  Each District Rally offers 46 Literary Events and a varying amount of open events.

Only students who are certified by District Rally Directors as Bona Fide Qualifiers are eligible to compete in any of the events at State Rally where qualification is required.

Schools Attending District Rally

Schools participating in District Rally must select one location for literary events. Schools participating in open events at District Rally may select multiple locations for open events, provided the school does not participate in the same event at more than one district location.

District Rally Dates

District Rallies will be held on March 14, 2026.

District Rally Membership & Dues

Each District Rally sets its own dues structure and deadlines that may vary from district to district. You must complete a membership registration form and submit the appropriate amount of dues to your selected testing district.

You must submit the same total enrollment for LHSRA (State Rally) as the total enrollment you report on your District Rally membership registration form. The school enrollment reported for both LHSRA (State Rally) and District Rally forms must be the same school enrollment reported to the Louisiana Department of Education in February 2025.
